Well meaning Dr. Sartorius, forced to give up his scientific researches in Morocco for lack Of funds, would give almost anything for the resources to continue his work. What he gives is his self-respect as a doctor and much more, when he agrees to kill Lord Clifford for money. A sensitive and moving portrayal by KarlOff, in an essentially unsympathetic role and a predictable story. Boris KarlOffÕs innate dignity and gentle humor cannot be smothered by banality.
