This collection includes three silent comedies Charlie Chaplin made for Mutual Film Corporation. In “The Pawnshop” (1916), Charlie plays an assistant to a pawn shop owner who ultimately saves the day; in “One A.M.” (1916), Charlie drinks too much and comes home only to find moving around without making a noise impossible; in “Behind the Screen” (1916), Charlie works at a film studio and helps a young woman find a job there.
