This collection includes six comedic shorts featuring Charlie Chaplin. “Making a Living” is Charlie’s on-screen debut where he plays a lady-charming swindler; “The Kid Auto Races at Venice” is the screen debut of Charlie’s character The Tramp where he disrupts the filming of a race; “A Busy Day” finds Charlie playing a wife who is jealous of her husband’s interest in another woman; in “Mabel’s Married Life” Charlie portrays a drunken man fighting with his wife, in “Laughing Gas” Charlie pretends to be a dentist, and in “The New Janitor” Charlie gets fired from his job as a janitor but just as he’s about to leave he foils a robbery and saves the day.
